To qualify as a Certified Flagger Associate, you must:

Show a sense of responsibility for the public and workers
Possess average intelligence
Be in good physical condition, including sight, mobility and hearing
Be able to show mental alertness and the ability to react in an emergency
Be able to learn safe temporary traffic control practices
Be courteous, but firm, in your communication manner
Be flexible in your work assignment as our workload is weather dependent Be ATSAA trained and certified
Be drug-free
